KitchenCodeCalc, a service of Xpand Horizons LLC. By using this website you agree to the terms below.

1. Planning tools — not engineered drawings

Calculators on this site reference IMC, UPC, IPC, PDI-G101, NFPA 96, and FDA Food Code guidelines for preliminary planning. They are not a substitute for stamped drawings, manufacturer engineering, or local permit approval. You are solely responsible for verifying results with licensed professionals and your AHJ before purchasing equipment or beginning construction.

2. No affiliation

KitchenCodeCalc is independent and not affiliated with ICC, NFPA, IAPMO, PDI, FDA, or any city or county department named on metro pages.

3. Metro sponsor seats

One contractor per trade per metro (1 of 1) while the subscription remains active.
First successful paid payment locks the seat. Canceling releases it.
Displayed availability matches our sponsor ledger — we do not show fake locked seats.
Sponsorships purchase placement on calculator results / printable specs for the selected metro and trade; they do not guarantee leads, jobs, or revenue.

4. Billing & cancellation

Sponsor plans are month-to-month unless otherwise agreed in writing. Cancel anytime; access and exclusivity end at the close of the paid period. Refund requests for unused days are handled case-by-case via [email protected].

5. Privacy

We collect only what you send us (email inquiries, sponsor applications, payment processor metadata via Stripe). We do not sell personal data. Calculator inputs run in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you choose to email a quote request.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xpand Horizons LLC and KitchenCodeCalc are not liable for decisions, purchases, failed inspections, or damages arising from reliance on calculator outputs or sponsor placements. Use at your own professional discretion.
